Bank robber nabbed at Revere strip club
After he allegedly robbed a bank Saturday, a Quincy man took a taxi to Squire Lounge in Revere to celebrate his successful heist.
Little did he know, State Police were outside waiting.
James Murphy, 45, was arrested around 2 p.m. outside the Squire Road strip club, a short time after he robbed a Bank of America in Quincy, police said.
Murphy was found in possession of over $1,000 cash at the time of his arrest, according to State Police Lt. Eric Anderson,
Shortly after the robbery occurred, police identified Murphy as the suspect and found out he was likely headed to the North Shore, police said.
Murphy took a taxi from Quincy to Revere shortly after the robbery, according to police.
After Murphy was arrested, he was transported to a Quincy police station where he was booked on armed robbery charges.
